is there a way to import songs from an ipod to your itunes without having to have all your shit deleted so your ipod can sync with your itunes?

see, before my comp got virus hax, i decided to put all my music onto my ipod shuffle so i wouldnt lose it when i had to PC Reboot it.

Having did so, after the reboot i reinstalled itunes. I then realized that since im installing a NEW itunes, my ipod would have to sync with it, and i would lose all the music i wanted to save. I don't want to do that.

i know its probably not possible, but if anybody knows how i can put my ipod shuffle music back on my computer through some other method that doesn't force me to delete it, i'd appreciate it.
